Vampire Hunting CorelDRAW, Painter, Photo-Paint November 2008
I created this for a weekly contest over on ImagineFX forums. The title of the contest was "Concept Car", so I decided to make a car for vampire hunters, complete with caterpillar tracks (to avoid any danger of bursting tyres on debris), a large stake, sign of the cross, garlic scented fluffy dice (they're only just visible in the dark interior of the car, but they are there) and nets instead of windows (serving a dual purpose to avoid shattering glass and exploit the vampire's obsessive need to untie all the knots).
I used mostly blue tones because by the time I began painting I was working in a very restricted timeframe. This meant that I didn't have to think about balancing colours as well as everything else.
Created mostly in Corel PainterX, but I used CorelDraw to make a framework for the car and adjusted a few things in Photo-paint.
